Our Genealogy Research Packages
Each client will have an individual research plan made for them. The records that will be looked at include births marriages, deaths, census, wills, directories, military, criminal records and migration. Other records and photographs may also be found. There is no guarantee that your ancestors will be found in these records. We will list all the records that we have looked at so that you can continue the research that we have started.
At the present time our research only covers England, Scotland and Wales.

Local area profiling - a history of a village, town or area in the U.K with information on occupations, land use and prominent families. Typically 100-200 year span. Prices from £50 - £200
Prices
For those who are just starting we offer a basic one name option. This gives 3 hours research and report writing on one of the names you are looking at. We expect to uncover parents, grandparents and possibly great grandparents of the person that you want to start with.

If further research is required on this name the £50 will be deducted from the final price
1 Name
This package follows one surname back to around 1800. You will receive a pack with a family tree 2 certificates, census returns and a report giving background information to the locations, occupations and military involvement (if relevant) of your ancestors. In addition 1 Family History book will be created.

2 Names
This package looks at 2 surnames and covers the same information as the 1 Name but includes 4 certificates, 2 separate family trees and 1 Family History book.

4 Names
This package follows 4 surnames back to at least 1800 and further if records allow. 8 certificates and relevant census information will be included in the pack. Charts and family trees for each name will be included along with copies of any photos, wills or newspaper articles that may be discovered during this research. This package includes 2 Family History books.
Bespoke packages and individual research are charged at £20 per hour plus costs.
To start your research we need as much information from you as possible. For the person you want us to start with we require as a minimum date of birth, place of birth and full name. We will then assess your request before asking for payment.
The taster package must be paid in full in advance, the other packages require 50% of the cost in advance and the balance to be paid before the report is handed over to you.
